Step into FUTURE Jobs Careers Events will take place at City of Glasgow College, City Campus on the 5th of March from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. This event is run by DYW Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire with support from DYW Glasgow. They are holding the event in partnership with our colleagues at the Colleges and as a result, all attendees will have an opportunity for a College Tour of the faculties involved in Future Jobs pathways and the on-site facilities.
The aim is to provide senior phase secondary school pupils with a wider understanding of Apprenticeships, Future Emerging Jobs, and the Green & Sustainable Jobs Sector and the potential career opportunities in those fields, whilst hopefully inspiring them to select the relevant subjects and pathways at school that can lead to their chosen sector. As a result, we are reaching out to local employers and organisations to support the events as an exhibitor and provide an industry insight on how their business operates within a thriving industry or one that is contributing within an emerging sector or move to Net Zero.
