Mentoring can take many forms and we work in partnership with two fantastic organisations who are experts in the field:

  • MCR Pathways
Through MCR Pathways, mentoring is aimed at looked-after and accommodated young people.
Mentors are asked to commit one hour per week during school time for a minimum of one school year - preferably two.
  • Career Ready
This two-year mentoring programme is aimed at S5 school pupils. The programme also includes a four-week paid internship between S5 and S6 and costs the host employer £700 based on a rate of £5 per hour for a 35-hour working week.

Your skills and experience can be shared through mentoring to make a positive difference to young people.

“I can tell my mentor stuff, whatever I want. It is better to have a mentor than keep it all in. It's better to talk. He is kind, relaxing but straight to the points, that’s what I like about him. He has made a big difference, instead of keeping all my feelings in I talk about them.”
