Young jobhunters get to work on finding their dream career at the Scottish Apprenticeship Show

The Daily Record event gives young people everything they need to know about becoming an apprentice and is heading to Edinburgh and Aberdeen next month.

The Show, now in its second year, offers school and college leavers the chance to meet top employers face to face.

More than 3500 young people, parents and teachers attended the three-day show at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall, which finished yesterday.

Employers involved included Barclay's, Aldi, BAE Systems, the Scottish Government, the RAF and the Army.

Media Scotland Events director Michele Aaen said: "It's been a huge success.

"I've been so impressed by thecalibre of young talent and some of the apprenticeship opportunities on offer have been fantastic."

The show moves on to the EICC in Edinburgh on October 1 and 2 before heading to Doubletree by Hilton Aberdeen Treetops hotel on October 10.
