GMAC BFI Film Academy Short Course
GMAC are excited to launch applications for this year’s BFI Film Academy short course! If you know of any young people who are 16-19 years old and have a passion for film – this is the course for them!
The course runs from 21st September until 14th December on Saturdays, with two weekend intensives on 27-28 Sept & 11-12 Oct. The final session, including a screening for friends and family, will take place 11th January!
Participants will learn key craft roles from industry mentors including camera, sound recording, production design and editing, before going on to making a short film under simulated industry conditions. Completion of the course also provides learners with an NCFE Level 2 qualification of Preparing to Work in the Film Industry.
The course is free, lunch will be provided, and bursaries are available for those who require assistance with travel costs.
