This unique experience will be taking place on Wednesday, 13th March at the City of Glasgow College, promises a day of immersive challenges, teamwork, and problem-solving that will leave students inspired and ready to conquer the unknown.
Setting Sail for Creativity:
Picture this – a deserted island, a shipwreck, and the challenge to build a sustainable habitat from scratch. Shipwrecked Skills Day is not your average event; it’s a journey into uncharted territory where students will unleash their creative thinking and problem-solving skills. This hands-on experience goes beyond textbooks, encouraging participants to design a habitat that respects nature while ensuring all necessities are within a 15-minute walking distance.
Collaboration on the High Seas:
In partnership with DYW, BIMA Scotland, Daydream Believers and the City of Glasgow College, Shipwrecked Skills Day brings together a crew of industry experts, ready to guide students through the unexplored waters of digital and creative industries. The day isn’t just about building huts and bridges; it’s an opportunity for students to dive into the world of possibilities, gaining insights into careers and paths within the digital sector.

Shipwrecked Skills Day isn’t just about the challenges; it’s a journey that includes digital industry expert insights, a college tour, and information on courses related to the digital creative sector. Students interested in English, Graphic Design, Art & Design, or students with a flair for creativity.
