My Climate Path – O’Donnell Brown Climate Hub Project
O’Donnell Brown has been working with Abercorn Secondary School over the last couple of years as part of the #MyClimatePath ‘Climate Hero’ programme.
Over the past few months, the team has been working with the school to convert a disused shipping container using #recycled and natural materials into a Climate Hub for the pupils, creating a dedicated outdoor classroom space for #climate change education.
The Climate Hub project is supported by the itison Glasgow Pumpkin fund. As part of this exciting renovation project, the team has also been working with APK Scotland, Flux Laser & CNC Studio who are laser cutting the signage, and local participatory designer Josafinni Porter Chambers who carried out some wonderful workshops with Abercorn Secondary School pupils at Agile City CIC’s Civic House to create artwork for the hub.
Many thanks to IndiNature and MGM Timber (Scotland) Ltd for donating hemp insulation and wood.
A huge thanks to all for supporting our #MyClimatePath initiative over the past few years and to all of our climate heroes for inspiring our future workforce.
Keep your eyes peeled for further Climate Hub announcements!
