Round-up of our 2024 events

As the year draws to a close, we are reflecting on the incredible events we hosted this year with the support of our amazing employers and partners!

Highlights include:

• Shipwrecked Digital Day with BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) and City of Glasgow College, where pupils used their digital skills and creativity to design a sustainable habitat on a desert island.
• Future Her event with Scottish Women in Business (SWIB), inspiring young minds with diverse entrepreneurial journeys and practical business advice.
• Our first-ever hackathon at J.P. Morgan, supported by Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Bellrock Technology Ltd, First Bus, Young Scot, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Arnold Clark, and the SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority, where 16-24-year-olds co-designed new ways to connect young people with employers.
• COB Futures with Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, DYW LED , and DYW West (Developing the Young Workforce), sponsored by Barclays, where we explored green jobs and offered hands-on sustainability workshops.
• The DYW Glasgow thank you event at the OVO Hydro, reflecting on a fantastic year.
