EY Foundation – Your Future
Employers, EY Foundation are looking for your help and involvement in the Your Futures Programme.
- 2-12 April 2024 – 5 days employability skills training (2-8 April), followed by 3 days work experience with an external employer partner (9-11 April) followed by a day of application workshops/jobsearch/online applications etc (12 April)
- Young people taking part are paid the National Living Wage for all 9 days – No cost to the employer as all costs are covered by EY Foundation.
- Work experience could be to work on/contribute to a current project or perhaps have them work on a past project but to gain a younger audiences approach to that project. Maybe you are looking to increase your presence on social media – Assign the young people a project to develop an Instagram or tiktok campaign for your business. The options on how to utilise the young people during the work experience is entirely up to you. Ideally they would get a chance during the 3 days to see different aspects of the business and speak to people who work in the different aspects of it just to give them a better insight into the world of work.
- Transport costs covered where required
- 6 months support from a job coach post programme to help young people identify job opportunities etc
