Glasgow’s Big Parent’s Night Out

On Wednesday 16 November , we held our Glasgow’s Big Parent’s Night Out alongside Glasgow City Parents Group at The Studio. We were joined by Gerry Lyons, Head of Education Services in Glasgow City Council, who gave insight into the range of pathways there is for young people leaving school. Representatives from HMRC, Arnold Clark and SmartSTEMS delivered inspiring talks on their workplace and journey to getting involved.

Over 200 parents and careers in Glasgow signed up to come along to explore the different options and support available for their young person. A dozen of businesses such as MyBnk, Barclays, Disclosure Scotland, and ENABLE Scotland joined us at stall, providing a range of opportunities, support and information.
